Real Conversations About Money, Family, and What Actually Works
Most families are not struggling because they lack information. They are struggling because no one is talking honestly about what is actually happening.
Parents are helping their adult children in many different ways. Sometimes it is rent, sometimes debt, and sometimes ongoing support that was meant to be temporary. It is almost always done with love.
Over time, however, something can begin to feel off. Expectations form quietly, conversations are avoided, and tension builds beneath the surface. These are the conversations I speak to, in a way that feels real, grounded, and relatable.

Why This Conversation Matters Right Now
We are in the middle of the largest wealth transfer in history. Trillions of dollars are moving from one generation to the next, while many adult children are facing financial realities very different from their parents.
More support is being given than ever before, yet many families feel uncertain about how to do it well. Money is already shaping family relationships. The question is whether it is happening intentionally, or simply by default.
What I Bring to the Conversation
I do not speak as a financial advisor or economist. I speak as a parent who has built and is actively living a family system designed to support both generosity and independence. This conversation is especially relevant for families, advisors, and communities navigating wealth, transition, and what it means to support the next generation well.
This includes:
- Early inheritance planning
- Clear qualification or readiness criteria
- A shared family investment structure
- A family “bank” for loans and opportunities
- Ongoing conversations and accountability
This is not theoretical. It is something we are living in real time with our own family.
